The pain that can be felt in the first period after the operation is not unbearable and can be prevented with painkillers. The patient is usually discharged on the same day. It is normal to have swelling and redness in the areas where the applications are made after the operation, and these effects pass within 3 weeks in parallel with the healing process. After the operation, the ear dressing applied to the patient is removed within a few days. After the surgical procedure, the sutures are removed by the doctor within a week. The patient can return to work and social life within 5 days. After the operation, the swelling in the ears completely goes down within 3 weeks, and after 3 months, the ears take their shape after the operation. In the first 3 months, it is necessary to avoid sports activities that may cause a blow to the ear area and to protect the ears from the sun.
