The pain that can be felt in the first period after the operation is not unbearable and can be prevented with painkillers. The patient usually stays in the hospital for one evening and is discharged the next day. It is normal to have bruises and swellings in the nose and eye area after the operation, and these effects pass after the healing process. The patient can return to work and social life within a week. The tampons and splint are removed by the doctor within a week after the operation. If the nose surgery operation was performed with the open technique, the sutures placed on the tip of the nose are also removed in the first week. The swelling in the nose area, which is not very obvious from the outside and gradually decreases, completely goes down after 6 months and the nose takes its shape after the operation within 1 year. Glasses should not be used for the first 4-6 months and sports activities that may cause a blow to the nose area should be avoided in the first 6 months.
