Since the prosthetic material is placed under the breast tissue or submammary musculature, it does not adversely affect the breast's maternal functions. Thus, there is no need for the person to postpone the breast augmentation operation or to have the prostheses removed before the pregnancy and breastfeeding process because there is a desire to have a child in the future.
