Operation of repairing of the scars is an aesthetic and plastic surgery to repair the scars caused by external traumas such as previous surgeries, accidents or scars that occur due to body’s internal physical processes, healed by the immune system but left a tissue mark over the injury which is referred as a “scar”. The normal healing process in wounds varies depending on the wound and may vary from person to person due to the structural characteristics of the patients. This process can vary from a few days to a few months. Even after the completion of the wound healing process, tissue repair can continue for several years. For the operations aimed at repairing the scars, it is therefore expected that the wound tissue will complete the repair process and the scarring will be finalized.
